Robert Wolverton, Jr. was born in 1975, in Farmington Hills, MI. His family moved to Texas where he grew up as a child. In 1987 Robert and his family moved to Tennesee where he still resides today with his wife and son. Robert's studio is located in Bartlett, Tn, next door to Memphis. Schools attended were MTSU, University of Memphis and Columbia State with a focus towards graphic design and studio art.

Artist Statement: One of my favorite quotes is by Joseph Campbell, "Follow your bliss...". That is exactly what painting is for me, Bliss. Art has the power to effect people both in a positive way and in a negative way. The fact that we feel these emotions is what makes it art. I intend to follow my bliss and continue painting, learning and teaching what I know and have seen along the way. My hope is that I inspire others to follow their bliss and along the way people might connect with my artwork.
